Jutas is a newly renovated conference room that fits up to 50 persons. Depending on what suits your needs the best it can be arranged as both a theatre, a classroom, separated islands or in a U-shape. During the day there's natural light in the room and it has got its own ventilation system so that you can be comfortable all day round.
Its name originates from a miniature street that 's next to the hotel, 'Jutas backe' [Jutas hill]. Which starts at Johannesgatan by S:t Johanneskyrkan and goes to Birger Jarlsgatan. The street in turn got its name the year 1855 after Georg Carl von Döbeln who won the 'Battle of Jutas' in the Finnish War in 1808. 'Döbeln vid Jutas' is also the title of one of the most famous poems in the Runeberg collection 'Fänriks Ståls sägner'.
